At The Church at Short Creek, we believe that a strong local church is the backbone of any community and that the local church is more than a weekly or even bi-weekly gathering. We earnestly believe in doing life together, fully committed to reaching our community and the surrounding communities with the ENTIRE Gospel.
As a non-denominational church, we fully embrace all the Gifts of the Spirit, knowing their relevance for empowering us to carry out our Father’s Heavenly Will on our earth.
We have laid aside the traditions that have prevented many charismatic churches from reaching the ones in their community who are truly searching for hope. Hats, t-shirts, shorts, slides, and even pj’s are commonly worn in all of our services. Tattoos, long hair, facial hair, or no hair, just come. When we say come as you are, we really mean it.
Our church is very diverse, with folks from all ethnic groups, all educational levels, all backgrounds, and various professions. We have folks who have spent time in prison, veterans, ex-addicts, some who are still struggling with their addiction, and others who were raised in church and have never strayed very far from the Lord. We believe a local church should fully reflect the community in which it serves.
We have folks at Short Creek from newborns to their eighties, but most of our congregation is under 30 years old. We are well-known for being a Gen Z and Millennial Church on FIRE for the Lord.
Visit us soon; I promise you will not be disappointed.
